Q. What is The Choice?
A. The Choice was created by Choice Communication Group (CCG), whose mission is to assist individuals with their emotional wellbeing. The Choice’s purpose is to provide a safe and relaxed environment for singles to meet and have fun, as well as find ideal partners.
Q. Do I have to register?
A. You will need to register for the event you would like to attend. You can contact us to complete the form for our events. This is important for us to provide a safe and relaxed environment.
Q. What is the cost?
A. The cost of becoming a club basic member is $149 for a year or $89 for 6 months. As a member, you can go to as many events as you like. The cost for each event is different depending on the nature of the event, ranging from $10 to $60.
Q. What sort of people go to singles events?
A. We cater for the needs and interests of a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and contexts. However, we do a thorough screen of attendees in order to maintain a high level of safety.
Q. How old are people at the events?
A. Most event attendees are in their 20s through to 50s, and most of the events are arranged in these age groups. However, we are not limited to age and we strive to provide fun, age appropriate events, across all age groups.
Q. Do I have to be in the age limit to attend?
A. The age range is a guideline only – if you are slightly under or above the age limit you are still welcome to attend.
Q. How many people will I meet?
A. This will depend on the nature of the event.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Again, this will depend on the nature of the event. Smart casual is recommended, something you feel comfortable and confident in – think what you would wear to go on a mid-week date. While personality is important, self appearance also tells a lot about the character of someone.
Q. Can I bring a friend?
A. The more the merrier, but they will need to have registered for the event.
Q. How many events can I attend?
A. There are no restrictions for The Choice members. The more events you attend the more people you will meet.
Q. How do I book?
A. Once each event is confirmed you will be able to book online by clicking Book Now on Events page or contact us directly. You can make your payments through the “Add to Cart” link on our website, cheques or bank deposits. We will confirm your place once your payment has been made.
Q. I am a bit nervous about going by myself…
A. It is natural that you feel nervous, and overcoming that is what we are here for. There will be someone from The Choice to take care of each event. Just think that you are going to meet some friends and have fun. If you happen to be extremely shy and need coaching on this, then please book a session with one of CCG’s Life Consultants, to assist you in becoming more confident and sociable. We have had great success in this area and would be delighted in helping you to be the best you can be.
